Best Western Plus Hotel Alfa Aeropuerto

This is an easy gentle hotel to stay at. Front desk staff are pleasant and managed to work in English which was great because we had no Spanish. Outdoor bar area is nice. Never ate in the dining room but had excellent hamburgers and grilled cheese in both bar areas. Front desk staff informed us about the bus service into the city centre including the cost and that a credit card was needed for payment. All good things to know as the hotel is a ways out from the city centre. There is an interesting shopping/neighbourhood area just across the bridge. You can check in at 12 noon which is a real bonus if you are staying there after disembarking a cruise ship before flying. They have an airport shuttle which is pretty busy so book it early. Over all a nice stay.

Airport shuttle to the airport was great ! I didn't use it in the other direction. The restaurant was very nice with a good dinner & breakfast the next day. The room was exceptionally clean and the amenities provided very nice. There were some loud groups in the rooms around me that I heard in the hallway - but the room was very quiet. I was traveling alone - and felt extremely safe.

My room had everything you needed for a comfortable stay. I was pleasantly surprised as I found the hotel nicer than I expected. I had booked this hotel to be close to the airport & to have access to the airport shuttle service offered by the hotel for a morning flight. The bed was really comfortable, the linen really soft & soft fluffy bath towels. I also loved having tea & coffee making facilities in the room. Due to my arrival time I ended up having lunch, dinner & breakfast at the hotel & the food was really very nice. I certainly wasn’t expecting this from an airport hotel. I’d like to give a special mention to Dani who was working in the restaurant & bar at lunch & dinner time. I am a coeliac & cannot eat gluten. Dani went out of his way to explain the menu to me, let me know what dishes I could eat or what could be altered for me & check if I was enjoying my food. Really personal service. Breakfast was buffet style with quite a few options including eggs & the usual continental breakfast choices. All in all it was a very comfortable stay at an airport hotel.

Considering this is a Best Western, it exceeded our expectations as far as appointments and comfort. The "free" shuttle was not helpful when we arrived, as it only runs in the mornings and evenings, and we arrived midday. We had a very good meal that evening in the onsite restaurant. A bit pricey, but very good food for a hotel. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Highly recommend.

The swimming pool, sauna and business facilities, mini shop. Free shuttle bus to/from the airport. Very nice bed(s) and lovely shower room. Room has very good air conditioning. The restaurant food was excellent quality. and in my opinion was cooked to perfection. Very nice staff most of whom spoke English as well as Spanish.
